Why do images from websites save as WebP?+
Many sites serve WebP because it’s smaller than JPG. Some apps and upload forms don’t accept it yet, so converting to JPG helps.
Will I lose quality converting WebP to JPG?+
Very little at 90% quality. Both formats are lossy, so avoid converting the same image back and forth.
Can I convert an animated WebP?+
