Questions
Can sharpening fix an out-of-focus photo?+
It helps with slight softness, but it can’t recover detail that was never captured. Badly blurred photos stay blurry.
What settings should I start with?+
80% and a 1 px radius. For large photos try 1.5–2 px, and lower the amount if edges get halos.
Should I sharpen before or after resizing?+
After. Resizing softens a photo, so sharpen as the last step before you download.
Are my photos uploaded?+
No. The photo is sharpened in your browser, and the photo never leaves your device.
