What is a HEIC file?+
HEIC is the format iPhones use to save photos. It keeps files small, but Windows, many Android phones and many websites can’t open it.
Can I convert several HEIC photos at once?+

Does converting HEIC to JPG lower the quality?+
Barely. At 90% quality the JPG is very hard to tell apart from the HEIC, though the file is usually larger.
